Roguedle is a daily game with no accounts, no sign-up and no email list. This page says exactly what it stores and where.
What stays on your device
The game keeps your progress for the day, your sound setting, your streak, your record of past runs and a random player id in your browser's storage. Nothing on your device identifies you; the id is a random code the game makes up the first time you play. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.
What is sent to the game's server
Your finished run. When you leave the seventh room, the seven items you took are sent with your random id and the day's date, so the server can replay the gauntlet, score it and add your result to the day's curve. The score, the items and the random id are kept against the date.
Anything you type. A report about a run is stored with the date and your random id, and read by a person.
The server does not store your IP address. It does count requests from each address for a minute at a time to stop floods, and then forgets them.
Hosting
The game runs on Cloudflare, which carries the traffic between your browser and the server and keeps the ordinary technical logs any host keeps, such as IP addresses and the pages requested. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers that.
Advertising
If the game shows advertisements, they are served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google's ad settings page. There are never ads during a run, only on the results page.
